UPC and ISBN codes

If you are producing a CD or DVD and wish to sell it online or in retail stores, you'll need to have a UPC number and barcode on the back. Unless you're a large company with hundreds or thousands of different products, you don't need to purchase a block of UPC numbers. Most DVDs produced today also have an ISBN (International Standard Book Number). if you plan on selling your material to retail chains, libraries, or specialty stores, you will probably need an ISBN.
